The full amount of national pension is EUR 584,13 per month. If you are married or cohabiting, the amount is smaller, EUR 518,12 per month.
National pension at the full rate is payable only if you receive no earnings-related pensions or their combined amount is less than the amount allowed to qualify for the smallest national pension (EUR 51,54 per month). If your earnings-related pensions exceed this amount, your national pension is reduced or not payable at all.

Living abroad may also decrease the amount of national pension if you have live in Finland less than 80% between the time you were 16 years and when the pension begins.
The rates of national pensions, Child Increase, Front-Veterans’ Supplement and Care Allowance for Pensioners are adjusted at the beginning of each year to changes in the national pensions index, which reflects the cost of living.
