Double child benefit will be paid to bank account in Kela's records – Deadline for reporting changed account number is 8 December 2022

The double child benefit will be paid out on 23 December 2022. The payment will be made to your bank account stored in Kela’s records. If your account number has changed, you must notify Kela no later than 8 December 2022.

Double the normal child benefit will be paid out in December. The double child benefit will be paid out on 23 December 2022 to the bank account that Kela has in its records. If your bank account number stored in Kela’s records is out of date, we advise you not to terminate the account before you have received the December payment.

If your account number is out-of-date or has to be changed for some other reason, you must provide your new account number to us no later than 8 December 2022, otherwise the new information cannot be registered in time for the payment.
