<h1>Guidance in how to use the remote interpretation software</h1>

<p>You can contact the Centre for Interpreting Services for the Disabled to request guidance in how to use the remote interpretation software. Specify in your request which software you need help with.</p>

<p>An interpreter will walk you through the use of the software. In addition, you get advice on good practices for remote interpreting that it is worthwhile to keep in mind.</p>

<p>The guidance session lasts about an hour and it is implemented as on-site interpretation. The interpreter will join at your preferred location. Please note that the guidance session will be deducted from the total number of interpretation hours awarded to you.</p>

<p>Opastuksessa tulkki käy kanssasi läpi ohjelmiston käyttöä. Saat myös neuvoja hyvistä etätulkkauskäytännöistä, jotka kannattaa huomioida etätulkkauksessa.</p>

<p>Opastus on tunnin mittainen, ja se toteutetaan lähitulkkauksella. Tulkki tulee siis sinun luoksesi tai toivomaasi paikkaan. Opastustilaisuus vähentää sinulle myönnettyjä tulkkaustunteja.</p>

<p>Du kan beställa handledning i hur man använder program för distanstolkning från Centret för tolktjänst för personer med funktionsnedsättning. Ange i beställningen för vilket program du behöver handledning.</p>

<p>Under handledningen går tolken tillsammans med dig igenom hur man använder programmet. Du får också råd om god distanstolkningspraxis som det är skäl att beakta vid distanstolkningen.</p>

<p>Handledningen räcker en timme och den genomförs som tolkning på plats. Tolken kommer alltså hem till dig eller till något annat ställe enligt ditt önskemål. Handledningen minskar det antal tolkningstimmar som du beviljats.</p>

<p>When you visit a service point, bring proof of identity, such as your passport or driver’s licence. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you need a specific power of attorney from that person and proof of your identity.</p><p>If you bring your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate, you can manage your Kela-related affairs on a self-service computer at the service point.</p><p>You are permitted to bring a guide dog, an assistance dog or a government working dog to a service point.</p>

Customer service points where service is provided by Kela’s employees. You can get personal advice in all Kela-related matters.

Service points where service is provided by the municipality’s employees. You can get general guidance on Kela’s benefits and services. You can pick up forms and brochures and file applications.
