<h1>Post-graduate study in a university</h1>

<p>Post-graduate study includes licentiate's and doctor's degrees. You can get financial aid for up to 9 months for all post-graduate study.</p>

<p>Please note, however, that the duration of financial aid you can get for all your higher education (including post-graduate study) is limited to</p>

<ul>
	<li>54 months of financial aid if you begin a new course of study on or after 1 August 2017</li>
	<li>64 months if you began a new course of study between 1 August 2014 and 31 July 2017</li>
	<li>70 months of financial aid if you began a new course of study before 1 August 2014</li>
</ul>

<h1>Jatkotutkinnot yliopistossa</h1>

<p>Jatkotutkintoja ovat lisensiaatin ja tohtorin tutkinnot. Voit saada opintotukea enintään 9 kuukautta kaikkiin jatkotutkinto-opintoihin.</p>

<p>Muista kuitenkin, että voit saada opintotukea kaikkia korkeakouluopintoja (myös jatkotutkinto-opintoja) varten yhteensä enintään</p>

<p>Kom ändå ihåg att du kan få studiestöd för alla högskolestudier (även påbyggnadsstudier) sammanlagt högst</p>

<ul>
	<li>54 månader, om du inlett dina nya studier 1.8.2017 eller senare</li>
	<li>64 månader, om du inlett dina nya studier 1.8.2014–31.7.2017</li>

<p>When you visit a service point, bring proof of identity, such as your passport or driver’s licence. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you need a specific power of attorney from that person and proof of your identity.</p><p>If you bring your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate, you can manage your Kela-related affairs on a self-service computer at the service point.</p><p>You are permitted to bring a guide dog, an assistance dog or a government working dog to a service point.</p>

Customer service points where service is provided by Kela’s employees. You can get personal advice in all Kela-related matters.

Service points where service is provided by the municipality’s employees. You can get general guidance on Kela’s benefits and services. You can pick up forms and brochures and file applications.
