Kela´s customer service point Malmi

Kela’s customer service point provides service and assistance in matters related to the benefits available from Kela. You can also use the OmaKela e-service to apply for benefits, report changes and send supporting documents. The e-service can be found at www.kela.fi/omakela (in Finnish) or www.fpa.fi/mittfpa (in Swedish). It is also possible to book a telephone appointment.   • The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
The main entrance
  • The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
  • The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens easily manually.
  • The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
In the facility
  • The customer service point is on the same floor as the entrance.
  • The customer service point uses movement-guiding surface material.
  • The doors in the customer service point stand out clearly. The glass doors have contrast markings.

Advice for visitors

When you visit a Kela customer service point, bring proof of identity, such as your passport or driver’s licence. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you need a specific power of attorney from that person and proof of your identity.

If you bring your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate, you can manage your Kela-related affairs on a self-service computer at the customer service point. There are no self-service computers at the customer service points you can only visit by appointment.

You are permitted to bring a guide dog, an assistance dog or a government working dog to a customer service point.
