Notification of changes
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide in the application form and in any other documents. You must also notify Kela of any changes in your circumstances. Changes in your personal circumstances may affect your eligibility for rehabilitation services or the rehabilitation allowance, or the amount of the allowance.
If you fail to notify a relevant change, you may not receive a certain benefit or may receive too much, in which case Kela will require you to pay it back. The decision you receive from Kela lists the changes that must be notified.
Notify Kela immediately if you are unable to attend the rehabilitation
Notify Kela if you are unable to attend the rehabilitation for which you have been accepted. The notification must be made within 7 days of when you were informed of the date of the rehabilitation. If you find out later that you cannot attend, notify Kela as soon as possible. Late cancellation is possible only if you are unable to attend because of incapacity or some other valid reason.
Report the changes online (in Finnish or Swedish only) or by calling the customer service number for rehabilitation. Online banking user ID and passwords are needed to log into the online service.
