General procurement plan
The general procurement plan is a source of advance information on Kela’s upcoming public procurements. It makes for a more transparent and systematic procurement process. Companies can use the plan to prepare for future procurements. Published on the Hilma portal, the general procurement plan is updated on a quarterly basis. A link to Kela’s general procurement plan can be found at the bottom of this page. Kela may also arrange procurements that are not listed in the plan.
The information published in the general procurement plan about upcoming procurements is preliminary and not binding on Kela’s procurement unit. Procurements exceeding the EU and national thresholds are published in Hilma (hankintailmoitukset.fi/en). Kela uses an electronic supplier portal (tarjouspalvelu.fi), which provides access to current invitations to tender and all related documents.
